Shipping Policy

All items are custom made by me at the time of order. That said, please allow 2 weeks from the day after the date of purchase for your order to be custom handmade and shipped to you. This DOES NOT include weekends or holidays. Once your item(s) has left my hands, shipping time is in the hands of the US Postal Service. As much as I would love to be able to control the weather and any other shipping delay that could happen, I unfortunately cannot. PLEASE be understanding of this!

Domestic Shipping:
ALL packages are shipped via USPS First Class Mail (unless previously agreed upon between the buyer (you) and the seller (me) prior to the sale of the item).

International Shipping:
(INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ)
All international packages ship by First Class Mail. Orders can sometimes take up to 8 weeks to be delivered to you. If you would like a faster method please contact us before you make your purchase.
If your package is shipped via First Class Mail, it does not include tracking or insurance.
International customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges.

Payment Policy

Payment is currently accepted through most major credit cards, Paypal and Apple Pay. Please note that you can also pay via Paypal with a regular credit card, without opening a Paypal account.

A 6% sales tax will be added to orders in Michigan.

Your payment is expected within 24 hours of purchase otherwise your order is subject to cancellation.

Cancellations are only accepted for 12 hours after payment of an order has been made.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

At Four Black Paws, customer service is my TOP PRIORITY. Although I certainly hope that you LOVE your product, if there is an issue, please contact me, immediately, so that we can work things out.

Collars are NOT pre-made and therefore are made to the sizing that you provide to me at the time of check-out. Please make sure that you measure your fur kid's neck correctly so that you do not end up with a collar that does not fit!

RETURNS/EXCHANGES:

To return/exchange, product must be in unworn condition and still have hang tags attached. An exchange fee of $10+ will apply to all exchanges and covers shipping to you and cost to make a new collar.

If returning an item, all above instructions apply. You will be refunded your purchase price of the item minus cost of original shipping/handling charges to you and a 15% restocking fee upon us receiving the product.

I do not allow returns/exchanges on any custom items. This includes, but is not limited to: specially designed &/or purchased material, custom made size, engraved buckle, change in buckle selection (martingale, wide width collar).

You must contact me within 5 days of receiving your order to ask for a return or exchange for a different size. items must be shipped back within 14 days of receiving.

While I strive to provide the best possible products for your pet, pets are inherently unpredictable. Therefore, I cannot be held liable for any harm that may result from neglect, abuse or misuse of any of my products. Only you can determine the suitability of our products for your beloved pet.

Damage: If the package has been shipped UPS or FedEx, please note damage when signing for the shipment. If damage was concealed, buyer has 5 business days to report the damage to us so a claim can be made. If the package was shipped via US Mail, please notify us within 5 business days of the damage so a claim can be started. Please do not discard any packaging or the damaged item if an item is damaged, as this will be needed to process a claim. If we have shipped the incorrect item, please contact us for additional information on the return and exchange.
