Fi Series 1 & 2 Compatible Side Release Buckle Biothane Dog Collar (5/8", 3/4” and 1”) - Not adjustable

This Fi compatible Side Release Buckle Biothane collar comes in a 5/8”, 3/4" or 1" wide collar with two 1" wide tabs that sit on top of the collar to hold your Fi unit; since the Fi sits on top of your collar, no stress is put on the Fi unit. This collar comes with the Fi end links attached (Fi end links are only available in silver). There is no need to unhook your Fi unit from the collar for charging; simply pull the biothane back and place on the charger (see photos attached for an example).

Fi units are NOT included with your purchase. 

Every collar in this line is hand crafted from Biothane coated webbing that is durable and easy to clean. It even stays flexible in cold weather! This amazing webbing is soft and has the appearance of leather but is more durable, cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain than leather. It's also:

-water repellant

-stink-resistant **NOT resistant to skunk smell.

-antbacterial

-stronger than nylon and leather

-cleanable with soap and water

IMPORTANT COLOR NOTE: Blaze Orange, Hot Green, Hot Pink and Hot Yellow are neon colors and are HIGHLY prone to bleeding/transferring color onto themselves and other colors! Please be aware before ordering a color combo that includes neon color(s). Do not store collars and/or leads touching each other to avoid color transfer.

Ordering Instructions: 

It is very important to carefully measure your pups neck to get an accurate collar fit as these collars are NOT adjustable. This collar is NOT suitable for dogs with a neck size of 12” or less; once ordered, this collar cannot be returned or exchanged.

This collar is made with an aluminum or plastic side release buckle that can be engraved with your contact information. Silver aluminum buckle collars come with matching silver hardware; black plastic buckle collars come with your choice of black, silver or gold hardware (d-ring and screws).

IMPORTANT: Please read the following information regarding sizing:

This specific collar is NOT adjustable and is sized according to the ACTUAL measured length of the collar (collar + buckle). For example, when you order a 16″ collar, the collar will measure 16″ when laid flat from end to end (measurement is from the very end of the female side of the buckle to just past the end of the biothane where the outer edge of the male side of the buckle ends - does not include the part of the male buckle that snaps in the other end but does include the small portion of length before that piece). Biothane will NOT stretch over time. The smallest length this collar can be made in is 13”. I find most customers order their collar 0.5” or 1” larger than the actual neck size.

Sizing example: Our dog, Thea, has a 12.5" neck (this is a snug measurement against her neck where her collar naturally sits) and her exact collar measurement is 14" as we like her collar a bit looser.

Want a looser fitting collar? Order your collar 1″-2”LARGER than your dog’s actual neck size (for example, if your dog's neck measures 18", put 19" in the actual collar size box). Ordering larger than 2” above your dogs neck size will result in a collar that is too loose.

Need to measure your pups neck?

Gently use a piece of string or other soft material like a phone charger cord. Hold the end of the string/cable between your finger and thumb and gently wrap the other side around your dog's neck (the base of the neck above the shoulders) where the collar will sit. The tape should be snug but not too tight (do not include finger spacing when measuring the neck). If your dog has very thick fur be sure to get the tape closer to the skin. Let go of the string/cord and mark the spot in the middle of the string/cord with your finger that marked your pup's neck size. From there, use a tape measure to get the measurement from your string/cord measurement. After you get your dog's exact measurement, you can then loosen the cord about 0.5" or 1" to see how the collar would fit with a bit of length added for comfort.

**If you are having trouble finding your pup's neck size, please don't hesitate to contact me for help or send pictures of your pups current collar next to a ruler/tape measure for me to help you determine the best size.
